Scottish artists
Scottish artists and Walter Scott
You may well be wondering why a website for a bespoke equity portfolio manager is populated with imagery of amazing artworks. All incidentally, created by Scotland’s finest contemporary artists.

Here’s why.

Our passion for art saw us setting out to build our own contemporary collection. We could also see that there was a rich seam of artistic talent in Scotland, so we supported it from day one.

We approach it with all the commitment, enthusiasm and ambition we apply to our investing.

Us and The Royal Scottish Academy. Art meets finance.

Our commitment to the local art community is reflected in our longstanding partnership with the Royal Scottish Academy and in particular our support of its annual ‘New Contemporaries’ exhibition that showcases the work of emerging artists from across Scotland’s five main colleges of art and architecture.

Art as inspiration.

Walter Scott’s ever-growing collection displays many interesting contrasts. Work from an eclectic group of contemporary artists hang throughout our offices. When you consider that these offices are some of Edinburgh’s finest examples of Georgian architecture, the contrast is even more pronounced.  Seeing the collection, we hope it would be clear to you that we seek out art that is appealing, invigorating and thought provoking, to both the staff and clients who use our building. And now anyone exploring our website.
